::: BIOGRAPHY ::..::::...

Mathias Vielsaecker grew up in Karlsruhe, south-germany. After years playing drums, running around with a camera, spending a lot of time in photolabs and finishing school, he took up studies in "audiovisual media" in Stuttgart with focus on photography, cgi and film.

In 1997 he arrived in Berlin, entered the film business as assistant director at BLOW Film, learning by experience on set. Numerous music video projects as 1st AD. In 1998 writing treatments and first works as director of music videos.

In 1999 the directing team "twodirectors" was established together with Christoph Mangler. Since this year numerous musicvideo projects have been shot at various scales around the globe, including award winning ones.

First commercials in 2003. Lecturer at the "German Filmschool for Digital Artists". In parallel projects as freelance editor for musicvideos and commercials.

While concentrating in the past on directing in a team, Mathias Vielsaecker nowadays promotes himself as autonomic director with various representations.
